On February 26, 2024, CUCC hosted a 5G network innovation and application conference on "Network Based, Smart Leading the Future" at MWC 2024 in Barcelona. 5G Evolution and Industrial Application roundtable forum addressed the challenges of network evolution and application, and conducted the direction of future network development.
Bo Chen, deputy general manager of CICT Mobile's international business unit,,[JR1] said that 5G has made breakthroughs in many vertical industries, but their combination faces bottlenecks such as high network construction and maintenance costs, diverse customization needs and complex device compatibility. To solve these issues, we can strengthen cooperation with vertical industries and provide the customized solutions to solve vertical application pain points.
